Fdutils is a collection of utilities for configuring and using the Linux floppy driver, for formatting extra capacity disks (up to 1992K on a high density disk), for sending raw commands to the floppy controller, for automatic floppy disk mounting and unmounting, etc. This manual describes these utilities, and also the floppy driver itself.

The GNU Accounting utilities

The GNU Accounting utilities for process and login accounting GNU Accounting Utilities is a set of utilities which reports and summarizes data about user connect times and process execution statistics.
"Login accounting" provides summaries of system resource usage based on connect time, and "process accounting" provides summaries based on the commands executed on the system.
The GNU time Command

The GNU 'time' command runs another program, then displays information about the resources used by that program, collected by the system while the program was running. You can select which information is reported and the format in which it is shown, or have `time' save the information in a file instead of display it on the screen.

cracklib2 - a pro-active password checker library
